Purveyor of pręt-a-porter Judaism, Rabbi Frank runs a ministry of
conversion. Whether a person has reached the middle of their life or
they’ve come to a point of wanting to start all over again, Rabbi Frank
converts someone to Judaism when the person is ready to convert, not
when he decides that a person is ready to convert.
Praised are You, Eternal our God, Sovereign of the Universe whose mitzvot
add holiness to our lives, and who gave us the mitzvah of immersion.
In a biblical seascape of sand and palms, the process begins. With his
arms outstretched, Rabbi Frank stands hand-in-hand among his
followers in a receding semicircle. By means of immersion, they will
become Jewish.

Immersion in a mikvah, a Jewish ritual bath, is required by traditional
Jewish law for the purpose of ritual purification and cleanliness of the body.
